PRESIDENT TINUBU MOURNS WITH APC CHAIRMAN YILWATDA ON THE LOSS OF HIS BELOVED MOTHER

President Bola Tinubu in a solemn moment, expressing condolences during a formal event, following the passing of APC Chairman Yilwatda’s mother.

In a touching message of sympathy, President Bola Tinubu has extended his deepest condolences to the National Chairman of the All-Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, following the passing of his beloved mother, Mama Lydia Yilwatda.

Mama Lydia, who peacefully passed away on Sunday morning at the University of Jos Teaching Hospital at the age of 83, is remembered as a remarkable woman whose life was rooted in faith, service, and community upliftment.

In an official statement released Monday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu honored Mama Lydia as “a woman of virtue who dedicated her life to faith and selfless service.”

The President encouraged Prof. Yilwatda to find comfort in the powerful legacy his mother leaves behind, reminding him that her passing is part of the divine plan.

“President Tinubu urges the APC Chairman to accept this loss as the will of Almighty God and to be consoled by the purposeful life his mother lived,” the statement expressed.

Offering prayers for peace and strength, the President beseeched God to grant the family solace during this difficult time.

“May the soul of Mama Lydia Yilwatda rest in perfect peace, and may Prof. Yilwatda and his entire family find the courage to bear this profound loss,” the statement concluded.

As the nation mourns alongside the APC family, Mama Lydia’s legacy of devotion and compassion will surely inspire generations to come.
