The Executive Secretary of UBEC, Aisha Garba, has once again shown that no Nigerian child should be left behind when it comes to quality education!
In a recent tour across riverine communities in Lagos State, including Ibeshe, Moba, Ojo, Olorunda, and Badagry LGAs — Garba inspected critical education projects aimed at expanding inclusive and equitable access to learning.
Key Highlights from the Tour:
Smart School Project at Epeme Village (Olorunda LCDA) is on track to become a model for innovation and digital learning in the region.
UBEC team paid a heartfelt visit to St. Thomas Primary School, Badagry (est. 1843) Nigeria’s very first primary school where Garba emphasized the need to preserve and restore its legacy for future generations.
Strong collaboration with traditional rulers, including His Royal Majesty, Oba Kososko, and local government leaders to ensure impactful, grassroots-driven development.
“Together, we are building a stronger foundation for Nigeria’s future,” Garba declared, highlighting UBEC’s vision for unity, inclusion, and educational equity across the country.
