TINUBU ORDERS MILITARY SHAKE-UP AFTER BORNO ATTACK, MOVES TO CRUSH TERRORISM NATIONWIDE

President Tinubu orders a military strategy overhaul following a deadly terrorist attack in Borno State.

In the wake of a deadly terrorist attack in Darajamal, Borno State, that claimed the lives of both civilians and soldiers, President Bola Tinubu has ordered a sweeping review of national security operations.

The President’s directive includes the deployment of cutting-edge military hardware, surveillance drones, and an overhaul of counter-terrorism strategies to completely eliminate terrorist groups across Nigeria.

Vice President Kashim Shettima, who conveyed the President’s message, visited Borno to mourn with victims’ families and expressed confidence in the military’s ability to defeat insurgents.

He emphasized that Nigeria will not rest until justice is delivered and peace is restored.
Beyond military action,
the Federal Government is also considering the creation of state police to strengthen local security efforts.

VP Shettima highlighted President Tinubu’s stance that grassroots-level policing, built on an understanding of local terrain and culture, is essential to solving Nigeria’s security challenges. As the nation grieves, renewed hope rises with these aggressive steps toward long-term peace and stability.
