BREAKING: DELTA STATE POLICE NAB KIDNAPPERS & ARMED ROBBERY GANG, RECOVER AK-47S & STOLEN VEHICLES

The Delta State Police Command has scored a major victory against crime with the arrest of four suspected kidnappers and a notorious armed robbery syndicate, leading to the recovery of AK-47 rifles, stolen vehicles, and a network jammer.

Kidnap Case – Ogwashi-Uku
A young man was abducted from his home, shot in the leg after paying ₦2 million ransom, and left injured in the bush.
But thanks to swift action by the Special Anti-Kidnapping & Cyber Squad, he was rescued alive.
Police arrested suspects Chukwuebuka Nka and Uche Okechukwu in Anambra State, recovering the victim’s stolen white Venza SUV.
Their confession led to the arrest of 18-year-old Somto Chukwuma and the recovery of a Toyota Matrix and a network jammer device.

Armed Robbery Bust – Ekpan Area
In another sting operation, officers arrested Elvis Ebroghro and Abiola Adegore, who allegedly threatened a community guard after trying to steal a car battery.
Follow-up investigations led to the arrest of Lucky Ebroghro and the shocking discovery of an AK-47 rifle hidden in an abandoned building in Ometan Community.

The Delta State Commissioner of Police has vowed to keep intensifying the crackdown on criminal elements threatening peace and safety across the state.
