Former Arsenal midfielder and current [add present club if officially confirmed] player Thomas Partey, 32, has been charged with two additional counts of rape.
The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) formally approved the two new charges on February 14, 2026, expanding the existing case against the Ghanaian international.
Partey had earlier pleaded not guilty to five counts of rape and one count of sexual assault during a hearing at Southwark Crown Court last September. The allegations involve multiple women and date back to incidents reported between 2020 and 2021.
He is now scheduled to appear before Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Friday, March 13, 2026, to answer to the new charges. His full trial is expected to begin in November 2026.
Partey denies all allegations. Under UK law, he remains presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
