Authorities in Tripoli, Libya, have arrested two Nigerian nationals accused of carrying out a series of robberies targeting convenience and commercial stores in the city.

Arrested on August 25, the suspects both undocumented migrants were captured on CCTV footage robbing a convenience store, which led to their swift apprehension by police.

According to Migrant Rescue Watch, the duo had been behind multiple break-ins, allegedly stealing cash from businesses in the area. The case has now been referred to the public prosecutor for further investigation.
