It’s celebration time for the Ojo and Jux families! Nollywood royalty Priscilla Ojo, daughter of beloved actress Iyabo Ojo, and her husband, Tanzanian music star Juma Jux, have officially returned to Nigeria with their adorable newborn son, Rakeem.
The family touched down to a heartwarming traditional welcome hosted by Glamma herself, Iyabo Ojo.
With drummers, dancers, and a sea of smiling faces, Priscilla looked visibly emotional as she walked into the surprise celebration. Juma proudly held baby Rakeem, radiating fatherly pride.
In a video shared by Iyabo Ojo on Instagram, captioned “Welcome to Nigeria #rakeem_mk”, fans got a glimpse of the joyous moment.
Among the first to welcome them was Chioma Ikokwu, aka Chioma GoodHair, Priscilla’s godmother and a successful entrepreneur, who commented, “My prince is here.”
Chioma also shared her excitement in an Instagram story, recalling how Priscilla called her while she was in the U.S., saying, “Godmama, I’m bringing your godson to you in Lagos,” and she couldn’t be happier!
This emotional homecoming comes after a lavish 40-day naming ceremony earlier this month in Tanzania. Priscilla later shared sweet clips of their journey back to Nigeria, thanking her mother and godmother with the words:
“Rakeem is lucky. Thank you, Glamma and Godmother #iyaboojofespris and #chiomagoodhair.”
Fun Fact: Baby Rakeem was born in Canada on August 24, 2025, and is already a globe-trotter!
