The House of Representatives has called for emergency federal intervention on the badly deteriorated Agbede and Okpella sections of the Benin–Okene Highway.
Lawmakers say the road’s condition has caused serious delays, increased transport costs and hardship for motorists and residents.
The House wants the Federal Ministry of Works and FERMA to act urgently.
